1Office was established in 1992 by Brian and Gwen Kidd

Originally a dealer manager for Olivetti throughout Scotland and the North of England, Brian realised that comprehensive solutions were key to long-term success and made the decision to establish a company that offered a personalised service and complete technical solutions.

We’re extremely proud of our family heritage and diverse portfolio, which continually evolves to meet the demands of our fast-paced and exciting industry. Larger premises have accommodated our consistent growth which has also led to winning a number of industry awards over the years.

Despite the company having grown to five times the size of the original business, our mission statement remains the same: to simplify business technology by providing the best possible, comprehensive solutions.

Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is at the heart of what we do, which is why our heritage and 25 years’ experience continue to drive our business forward.

We are driving sustainable practices to make our business more environmentally responsible. 1Office have:

  • Changed vehicles to be electric rather than fossil-fuelled.
  • Facilitated remote work to reduce unnecessary fuel usage.
  • Deployed software that arranges tree-planting to offset any printing that we do.
  • Continually recycled our used toner bottles for printing.
  • Created an Eco Team to lead sustainability initiatives across the business.
