The features of the d-Color MF454, d-Color MF554 and d-Color MF654 have been greatly improved over their predecessors. Many functions have been added to improve ease of use and productivity and further developments have been introduced to satisfy the most stringent environmental regulations and energy consumption reductions.

AirPrint® functionality, provided as standard, allows printing from iOS devices, Compatibility with Google Cloud Print™ is possible though the installation of a specific software connector and they also support a wide variety of managed print service solutions.
Additionally, on the Touch-screen operator panel, a special area is provided for connecting NFC (Near Field Communication) technology devices, allowing users to be authenticated for using the multifunctional systems. The Bluetooth® communications function can be added, as an option, to this area.

This model has been specifically designed for centralised office locations with large workgroups and CRDs (Central Reprographic Departments) and outputs colour prints and copies at 60ppm and in mono at a speed of 75ppm.

The user interface in the d-Color MF752PLUS provides an innovative 9-inch Capacitive Colour Multi-touch Display which can be customised to only show the main applications, for simplicity of operation, if necessary, and utilises “flick, drag, zoom and rotate” technology, similar to the operation on today’s smart phones and Tablet PCs.

The menu screen provides direct access to Scan, Fax (option), Box (archive) and Copy. When selecting additional functions, they appear in pop-up windows, which keeps the main panel both visible and available. This also eliminates the need for lots of sub-menus. In addition, it is possible to select or limit the number of function choices available to each user.

The d-Color MF752PLUS offers excellent media capabilities and supports up to 256 g/m2 from any paper tray and via the Automatic Duplex too. Paper Trays 1 and Tray 2 can also support up to 500 sheets each of SRA3 paper (320 mm x 450 mm). The bypass can feed Banner paper up to 1.2 meters in length providing you with the in-house flexibility of producing impactful local signage and posters.

When you add the optional on-line finishing capabilities, it is easy to create 20 pages (80 images) booklets with an automatic crease-fold and saddle-stitch, with a front cover of up to 209 g/m2, providing professional looking documents, manuals and reports.

Other optional finishing functions include tri-fold of an A4 page into DL size ready for posting; Z-fold of an A3 page for inserting into a A4 document and 2 or 4 hole-punching.

The Dual-scan system enables simultaneous front and back scanning with speeds of up to 180ipm. The d-Color MF752PLUS provides extensive ‘Scan-to’ functions including email, SMB, FTP, Box, USB Memory Stick and TWAIN as standard.

Users can save in various formats: JPEG, TIFF, PDF, Compact PDF, PPTX (PowerPoint), XPS and Compact XPS. Once the document has been scanned it can be checked in the useful “real-time” preview, on the Touch-panel, before the user decides to forward it.

For direct printing, the d-Color MF752PLUS supports PDF, XPS, TIFF, JPEG and OOXML (Office Open XML including docx / xlsx / pptx) file formats, so it is possible to print directly via a Web Browser Utility without using a Print Driver, or print directly via a USB memory stick, PC, laptop or tablet PC.

Remote Panel facilitates remote access to the Colour Multi-touch Display, by the Administrator, via a standard Web Browser, bringing new levels of user support to the office.

With the latest in mobile printing technology including Near Field Communication (NFC) and Bluetooth as well as embedded AirPrint® and web browser, these models enable users to access their documents, images and emails using their mobile devices.

In terms of productivity, these three MFPs give users the flexibility of using the Touch-screen panel or, if they prefer, soft Menu Keys to register a combination of basic functions. These models are modular with the opportunity to add an optional Large Capacity Cassette with up to 3,000 A4 sheets capacity, a re-designed multiple By-pass Tray and detachable Paper Cassettes to reduce paper jams.

They both print and copy at a speed of 26 ppm in colour and mono, provide scanning speeds up to 30 ipm and are operated via a handy 4.3” colour Touch-panel to give users easy access to functions that will improve office workflow productivity including a Dual Scan Document Processor which enables double-sided scanning in a single pass, a fast warm-up time of just 12 seconds and the first print will be delivered in just over 9 seconds.

On top of this they are equipped with a powerful 800MHz controller which supports multi-tasking without causing congestion. For people who need WiFi connection or want to print from a mobile device the d-Color MF2624PLUS is the product for them as this is a standard feature on this model, but not on the d-Color MF2624.

When it comes to having consideration for the environment both models have been designed to have a very low impact on their surroundings. They both comply to the stringent criteria required by Energy Star and Blue Angel energy programmes in terms of noise, waste and energy consumption. The toner used in these models has been designed to produce high resolution print quality as the particles are smaller and melts at a lower temperature.

These machines feature an ECO Print Mode so they require less power to operate, so reducing their running costs and they no longer need an in-built fan, so noise levels are reduced too. These models no longer have the need for a separate Waste Toner bottle because the waste toner is stored directly in the toner cartridge, avoiding mess, reducing emissions and keeps the toner contained.
